I added factory cruise to my 93 R1, the components needed are:

All the components bolted right on my car, the throttle body has connections for the cable and the wiring is already in the car.

Sorry I guess I wasn't really clear. The computer for the cruise only is just a little box (maybe 1.5x2.x.5") on the left side of the car. It is totally seperate from the engine ECU.

You should see a connector that is not connected to anything on the left side by the drivers left foot, it is not mounted to the firewall, it is on the side of the car in front of the door.

Cruise Control System

Reference pages Q-10 and Q-11 of the Body Electrical Troubleshooting Manual for details. The cruise control system does not have a warning light. The "cruise indicator" light is used to display trouble codes when performing diagnostics.
